Worksite Assessments

Worksite assessments focus on the physical or psychological demands of pre-injury duties and the demands of alternative and modified work duties.

Worksite assessments are conducted at the workplace in the presence of the employer and injured worker. The assessment is used to develop a suitable return to work plan in consultation with the individual’s treating medical practitioner.

A worksite assessment can be incorporated into the assessment of a rehabilitation program.

Worksite assessments are also recommended when duties on the return to work program change
or when an injured individual has been offered a new position.

For office-based injured workers, we recommend an Ergonomic Assessment
as it focuses on the individual’s workstation /workspace.
